بداياته :
درس يوسف الجسمي في كلية التربية الأساسية تخصص تصميم داخلي ، ثم بدأ مشواره في تصميم الأزياء قبل خمس سنوات ، حيث أنشأ تيليه خاص به أسماه ” فيونكا ” التي أصبحت فيما بعد علامة تجارية وبصمة خاصة به يدخلها في جميع تصاميمه .
فكر بعد ذلك أن يخوض تجربته الخاصة في التصميم ، فأعجبت الكثيرات من النساء والفتيات بتصاميمه ، فنال شهرة واسعة في محيطه ، لأنه اشتهر بتصميم الأزياء الراقية والتي تتميز بالأسطورية ، بالإضافة إلى أسلوبه اللبق بالتعامل مع زبائنه ، وكان لوالداه الأثر الكبير في دعمه ماديا ومعنويا مما ساعده إلى المضي قدما في الإبداع بتصاميمه ووصولها إلى العالمية بالرغم من صغر سنه .
Beginnings:

تتميز تصاميم يوسف الجسمي بالذوق الرفيع والأفكار المميزة ، فهو دائما ما يدخل في تصاميمه أفكارا جديدة ومبتكرة خاصة به ، كما أنه لا ينفذ تصاميمه في الرسم بل ينفذها مباشرة على المكان .
دائما ما يختار الأقمشة الراقية من أشهر المحلات التجارية العالمية ، ويحب أن تكون أقمشته من الخامات الهندية والتافتا والستان فاي والشانتون ، ولا يحب استخدام أقمشة الحرير والشيفون ، وتتميز أقمشته بالأسطورية والفخامة وهذا ما يميز أسلوبه في التصميم .
يتنوع الجسمي في تصاميمه ولا يعتمد فقط على أيزاء السهرات والمناسبات الخاصة بل يصمم الألبسة الكاجوال والقمصان إضافة إلى أزياء السواريه والسهرة والإكسسوارات بمختلف أنواعها والأحذية والأحزمة .
ويتميز أسلوب يوسف الجسمي في تصاميمه بأنه يراعي كافة الأذواق والأحجام ، فهو كما يصمم للمرأة الرشيقة ، يهتم أيضا بالمرأة البدينة حيث يعتمد في تصاميمه على الأحزمة العريضة للمرأة النحيفة بينما يراعي أن يصنع أحزمة رفيعة ويضعها تحت الصدر مباشرة لتناسب المرأة البدينه حتى تظهر المرأة البدينة بكامل أناقتها .

بعد نجاحاته المتكررة في تصاميمه على المستوى المحلي ، أصبحت نجمات الخليج العربي تتوافد عليه لارتداء تصميماته المتميزة ، ومن أشهرهن كانت الإعلامية حليمة بولند وأمل العوضي وحصة اللوغاني والمغنية هند ، وجميعن معروفات باختيارهن أجمل الإطلالات عند حضورهن على الشاشة .
وقد توسعت شهرة يوسف الجسمي خارج نطاق الخليج العربي ، حث شارك في أسابيع الموضة ببيروت ، وانبهرت بتصاميمه نجمات لبنان الشهيرات على رأسهن الفنانة نوال الزغبي والمعروفة بأنها دائما ما تختار إطلالتها من أشهر مصممي الأزياء العالميين ، كما ارتدت من تصاميمه الفنانة ميريام فارس .
تعدت شهرة يوسف الجسمي لتصل إلى العالمية ، فارتدت من تصاميمه أجمل مشاهير هوليوود على رأسهن تيلور سويفت وجيسي جي وجنيفر لوبيز وعارضة الأزياء الشهيرة ماهلاغا جابري ، وفي آخر تصاميمه ارتدت منه مغنية البوب الشهيرة ليدي غاغا والتي تميزت إطلالتها بالأناقة حتى أن معظم التعليقات كانت تشير بأنها الإطلالة الأفضل لليدي غاغا .
